great, setting the permission on the webconfig worked for me too., the browsing the url went from a 500 to a 403.14 like a ‘normal’ machine. You’re a star, many thanks.

Thanks!! Worked for me on exchange 2010. Only had to add permissions to authenticated users and do a iisrest.
