OCS 2007 R2 Web Scheduler

This got released last week and lets users schedule your on-premise conference calls or Live Meeting sessions through a web browser. It’s probably most useful for Mac or Linux users, but I could see using it in a pinch if you’re on the road somewhere without your machine. The installer runs on your Front-End servers and it will restart the OCS services, so plan accordingly before installing.

Luke Kannel already tossed up some screenshots of the interface and what’s disappointing is that that it doesn’t look like it’s changed much since R1 of OCS 2007. It’s not nearly as polished as CWA or any other Microsoft web application, but I suppose it gets the job done.

Hi there. My name is Tom Pacyk and this is my small home on the web. I love the intersection of design, technology, and communication, which is a combination that led me to a career in sales and marketing roles at places like Zoom and ServiceNow. They're a bit old now, but I also had the opportunity to publish a couple of books along the way.

Portland, Oregon is home for me, my wife Beth, and our three kids, but I'm actually a Midwestern transplant—I grew up in the Chicago suburbs and went to school at Purdue and Illinois. When I find some free time I'm probably going to concerts, rooting for the Portland Timbers, or working on my Sunshine Burn Photography project.
